Ski Dreams Booking Conditions
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. THESE INCLUDE VARIOUS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS, A CLAUSE THAT GOVERNS THE JURISDICTION AND VENUE OF DISPUTES, AND OBLIGATIONS TO COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS.
By using the Site you are contracting with www.skidreams.eu (Website), hereinafter referred to as "Ski Dreams", "Ski School", "Instructor", "our", "we", "us".
While "Client" hereinafter referred to as "student", "guest", "pupil", "skier", "rider", "adult", "underage/kid", "you", "your" and finally "Lesson" hereinafter referred to as "guiding", "courses", "riding", "service".
All bookings from clients with the Ski Dreams School throughout the season are subject to these conditions. This contract will be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with European law. Clients attending our lessons or courses must pay the appropriate fee in full before joining the lesson or course. The contract shall be between the client and the independent guide/instructor and governed by Ski Dreams. All Ski Dreams guide/instructors are members of a syndicate and have independent liability insurance.
Private & Group reservations:
Private lessons are meant to obtain a personal instructor for individuals or family as well as friends who know each-other.
The group courses enable unknown individuals to cut costs & join a group of similar levels on a day to day basis.
All private bookings from 1 person to max 6 persons are always automaticly confirmed.
Group booking from 3 to 6 persons are always automaticly confirmed while group booking from 1-2 persons are subject to instructor approval pending until the minimum group of 3 persons is composed.
Booking & Status reservations:
Ski Dreams real-time booking system accepts reservations up to 2 hours before the lesson.
After online booking submitting, the booking system will send an instant email showing "pending" status with all order details until payment operation is not finalized.
The booking system keeps reservations locked for 7 days according to allow payment operation is not finalized and nobody else can choose the same dates and times.
After online payment transaction or Ski School approvation as for cash payment, the booking system will send another automatic email showing "confirmed" status with the same order details.
If payment is not performed within a maximum 7 days, the booking system automatically delete the "pending" booking and send an email showing "removed" status.
Meeting point GPS coordinates:
The Ski Dreams instructor meeting point is "Rue du Parc des Sports - Val d'Isère" in front of Ticketing Ski installation called "Point the Vente Solaise Express".

In the event of you cancelling your reservation for whatever reason, the following charges apply.
More than 3 weeks notice 100% reimbursement. Within 1 to 3 weeks notice 70% reimbursement. Less than 1 weeks notice 50% reimbursement. After 72hrs before lesson or course date 0% reimbursement. No refund will be given by the Ski School, in whole or in part for unused lessons due to client late arrival, illness, accident, resort closure due to mechanical failure or for any other cause outside the control of the Ski School.
If we are unable to provide our services due to something outside of our control we will not give a refund, but we are happy to provide a letter for your insurance company. The Ski School reserves the right to cancel its lessons for a variety of reasons. Full refunds of unused lessons will be made in this instance.
The instructor will wait a maximum of 30 minutes for 'private lesson' and 10 minutes for 'group lesson' from the start time at the arranged 'meeting point' unless notified by the client. In the event that late arrival leads to a missed lesson the conditions under 'Missed Lessons' will apply.
There are no refunds or substituted lessons if a client misses a lesson for whatever reason.
Lesson places can be transferred to friends or family on request but with 2 or more hours notice especially if they are for different levels or offpiste equipment is involved. Times or dates can only be changed "before" within 3 days of lessons only if other times or dates are still available but must be authorized by ski school.
If a lesson has to be cancelled due to Guide/Instructor injury or illness, instructor will endeavour to provide a substituted lesson. If this is not possible a full refund will be given.
Most sporting activities have an element of danger. Please ensure that you are adequately covered by a comprehensive winter sports insurance policy. The ski school does not insure its clients. You are obliged to insure yourself for third party liability. We recommend that you arrange an appropriate policy, which also includes personal, medical, rescue and off piste insurance, with a licensed agent.
We cannot be held responsible for things outside of our control, such as bad weather, piste or lift closure. If we are unable to provide our services due to something outside of our control we will not give a refund, but we are happy to provide a letter for your insurance company. We will not cancel lessons due to bad weather or snow conditions unless all ski lifts are closed. Clients should ensure that adequate insurance cover is in place to guard against such situations.
All lessons are to be paid in full at the time of invoice by bank transfer, PayPal or in some cases in resort. All prices quoted by Ski Dreams and paid for by you are for ski instruction, coaching or guiding only. You must arrange and pay for separately, all other potential costs connected with the lesson or course, for example, any equipment hire, lift passes, taxi, accommodation and insurance. All prices may be subject to revision.
We ski in all weather & all conditions & only extremely bad weather may prevent the ski lessons running. The decision on the suspension of activity belongs exclusively to the direction of the ski school. Any claim regarding ski lessons must be submitted to the direction of the ski school only. Any ski lessons booked but not taken will not be reimbursed. The refund will be made only in the case of illness or injury and require the submission of a medical certificate.
Payments with PayPal are instant and are not subject to approval by the Ski School.
You will recive an instant email showing "pending status" with all order details until you complete your PayPal operation.
After PayPal transaction, you will recive another automatic email showing "confirmed status" with the same order details.
Cash on Arrival:
Payment in cash on arrival is only possible subject to approval by the Ski School and accepted but only on condition that it is paid on the first day of your holiday.
After online booking submitting, you will receive an instant email showing "pending status" with your ORDER NUMBER and your FULL NAME as just compiled.
Ski Dreams school will try to contact you by phone to verify your serious intentions, so only after Ski School confermation you will recive another email showing "confirmed status" with the same order details.
If the instructor and the customer do not perform the phone contact within 1 day, the "pending status" booking will be delete and will send an email showing "removed status".
Payments by bank transfer are subject to confirmation by the Ski School. After online booking submitting, you will receive an instant email showing "pending status" with this ORDER NUMBER and your FULL NAME as just compiled, together with the following ski school bank trasfer details.
We recommend that you write in your bank transfer "reason" the same FULL NAME with your ORDER NUMBER according to quickly identify your payment & order number by ski school.
After the bank transaction is confirmed with ID operation, please replay to email "pending status" with included is an attachement a copy of your bank confirmation according to update your status order.
You will recive another automatic email showing "confirmed status" with the same order details after your email replay with your attachement otherwise after ski school bank confirmation.
If payment is not performed within 7 days, the booking system automatically delete the "pending status" booking and send an email showing "removed status".
